Our team

Established in 1992 through the combined effort of development professionals and individuals wanting to get involved in international solidarity or humanitarian aid initiatives, ESSOR is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that carries out development projects in Portuguese-speaking and French-speaking countries, particularly Brazil, Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Chad and Congo-Brazzaville.

In legal terms, ESSOR is governed by the law of 1901. It is under the responsibility of a Board of Directors which meets three times per year.

ESSOR also has the support of about twenty volunteers who greatly contribute to actions in France (development education / sensibilizations, greeting cards, events ...).
